Top Blue Apron Picks
I’ve been a Blue Apron subscriber for about 3 years now. Their meal boxes feel like a date night, but from the comfort of your own home and much cheaper than going out. We usually order one per month (3 meals, 2 servings each). Plus, we save and tweak the recipes that we love to keep our weekly dinner plans exciting. Here’s my faves so far:
Spicy Tomato & Olive Pasta - don’t let the olives scare you, this is delish. If anything, just try this roasted broccoli recipe - it’s amazing!
Taiwanese-Style Chicken - a sweeter dish, but nonetheless surprising since it involves a lot of cabbage.
Mexican-Spiced Chicken & Zucchini Rice - the pickled jalapeños in this make it so good!
Chilled Chicken Ramen Bowls (pictured above) - a staple in our house ever since we tried it. This is perfect for really hot days since it’s served cold. We just buy the ramen noodle packs when we re-make it, and we leave out the green beans.
Mexican Beef Bowls - the sauce for this with mayonnaise and lime juice is so simple and so good!
Orange-Glazed Meatballs - a good excuse to incorporate some baby bok choy into your life
Sweet Chili Chicken - we make this ALL the time now, and we always add in whatever extra veggies we have on hand.
Thai Steak Lettuce Cups - instead of using the lettuce to hold each serving, we mix it all into one big salad. This is such a fresh summery tasting meal!
Bucatini Pasta Bolognese - easy, simple and we sub ground turkey in to make it a little healthier. I love the addition of the brussels sprouts!
