Simple Start: Acai Bowls
I’m on a quest to eat healthier breakfasts, and these are by far one of my favorite ways to make that happen. Tons of flavor, an easy way to use fruit on hand, and overall a pure joy.
Simple and easy, here’s how I do it:
-Trader Joe’s açaí packets (I use half of a pack for one bowl)
-1/2 banana
-Trader Joe’s unsweetened cocoa powder (1 tbsp.)
-Trader Joe’s Almond Butter (1 tbsp.)
-A handful of blueberries
-A dash of milk
-A few ice cubes
Blend it up!
Top with:
-Sliced strawberries
-Your favorite granola (Mine is the Trader Joe’s Lowfat Granola Cereal - Mixed Berry)
-Chia Seeds
-Honey
